Our doors are open so come on in... here is a quick rundown on our hours of operation.

LUNCH : 11:30 - 2:00 : Monday - Friday

DINNER : 5:30 until... : Monday - Saturday

No reservations, but will accept call ahead
Closed on Sundays.

BAKERY & CAFE (opens Thursday, Oct. 24)
7:30 - 6:00 : Monday - Friday

We are pleased to announce that, with the help of over 300 of you, our restaurant logo has been selected!! Based on your feedback and suggestions, the most popular logo concept from the folks at Flywheel Design (#6) was modified slightly to incorporate the type treatment so many people liked in #'s 1-5.

Your response has been fantastic and as a token of our appreciation, we'd like to buy you dessert! We will be emailing out coupons today for ONE FREE DESSERT (with the purchase of a dinner) to all those who participated in our choose-a-logo contest. A randomly chosen logo contest voter will also be contacted and given a FREE DINNER FOR TWO (excluding drinks).

The response to our Choose-A-Logo Contest has been amazing — nearly 200 comments in a couple of days! We’ve been so impressed by the diversity of opinions that we’d like to hear your thoughts on a few more ideas. Please keep in mind that we want the focus of Rue Cler to be on GREAT FRENCH FOOD, rather than on a traditional décor or formal tableside manners. We’re not trying to fool anyone into thinking that they’re dining in Paris – this is going to be an authentic downtown Durham restaurant which just happens to feature great French food.

We’ve been hesitant to go overboard with a stereotypically “French” look for our logotype. But please look through the new set of logos and tell us what you think. We value your opinions!
